Herman Miller Picnic Posters

Herman Miller (located in Zeeland, MI) is known for their innovative furniture designs. Each year a poster is designed to commemorate the Herman Miller employee picnic.

The first poster, designed in 1970, started this wonderful tradition. The posters have never been used as marketing tools for the company; instead of furniture they feature items like ice cream cones, cake, and fruit to illustrate the summer picnic theme.

Several Summer Picnic posters are housed in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Smithsonian. We offer a variety of original Summer Picnic prints from past to present.
